It's been a while but it still is always Stevie Wonder time. It was such a nice day out one gearing that this song came to mind. So why not a live version. I didn't sound this good belting it out, thankfully the cows in the field didn't seem to mind.

This video always reminds me of Perry Kramer. Perry is the PK of PK Ripper, and he is still a bad ass. riding racing and usually outselling his brethren at Giant. If you don't know the awesomeness that is PK I am sorry for you.
Just watch this and you will have a glimpse into how it probably is for a day in the life of PK.
Snow in Chinese
Yes it finally snowed in my neck of the woods. People are freaking out buying Bread, eggs, and milk. What is it about snow that makes people want French Toast.

I Rode Bake Oven

Last weekend (two weekends ago now) I got to ride with some people I have been wanting to ride with for quite a while. Truth is I have a standing invitation but somehow I am always too "busy".
Glad I "made" time. The Emmaus crew does it right.
We rode 70ish miles many on dirt roads and a beer/burger stop 15 miles from the end. A great way to take advantage of a 50+ degree day in January.
Followed Taylor down the descent. He threw down a sweet Johnny T one legged drift around a turn.
Last stop before the end.
It was a good day.
Not quite like this, but kinda, but not really

Dave had the second flat of the day. He is in the background fixing it while we discuss the theory of relativity.
Back on the road. Dave was soon to say goodbye and then there would be four.
It was cool to see that all four bikes were from small builders. We had an Independent Fabrication (Plunkett), a Crumpton (Beth), A Burley (Taylor), and an HH (Me). Long live independent frame builders.

As the Fatmarc said this time of year is a slow time for bloggage. Probably because people are too busy living life and enjoying it.
I fall into that category. Christmas was different this year and different in a good way. I got to spend my time with a bunch of great women, some unicorns and my bicycle. How could a middle aged suburban guy want more? I guess winning Mega Millions would have been the only other thing that would have completed the picture.
Since I am not feeling overly wordy I will let the pictures do the talking.
It was a very Unicorn Christmas.

Spent the last week of the year on vacation in Florida visiting Ma and Pa in old folk's ville.

The P's live in a golf cart community. It is pretty trippy. You can live your entire life doing everything by golf cart. You can go to the market, to Home Depot, the grocery, the bowling alley, and yes the doctor's office as well.

It was a good time. We even celebrated with a Flamingo tree.
